This is my second quilt from the pattern "Lady Birds' Rose Garden" designed by Darlene Christopherson. I have enjoyed Darlene's work for several years, and have repeated many of her patterns.
Appliqué is a favorite pass time. When my day is done, I kick back in my easy chair; and with my appliqué piece, a basket full of colorful threads, and needles; I get lost in the serenity of making something happen on a piece of fabric.
It is so rewarding to see what beauty can be created with a pair of hands and the needle turn technique.
