I love Nancy Crow fabrics, and when I saw her new line in 2001, I just had to find something to use it for. "What movement the Teal Blue gave to this quilt!" I had so much fun laying it out in a "maze" sort of way. Doing a narrow cut on the light side and a wider cut on the dark side makes this old traditional pattern so interesting, and gives more fun ways to play with the blocks. The Log Cabin is one of my favorite patterns. It's like baking a cake, it never fails to produce a beautiful project. I also credit "Sue Champion" for the name of this quilt; It reminded her of blue sea water. Machine Quilted by |
