I love the "Delectable Mountains" quilt pattern by Eleanor Burns.   I have made several quilts using this pattern.   I used the Hoffman Batik in brown multi-colors to get me started.   This gave me the space to accent with several colors and different fabric textures to create a new look to the traditional pattern.   After twisting, tilting, and turning each block unit, I decided I had created fallen mountains; henceforth, the name "Earthquake". I hope everone that sees this quilt will enjoy it as much as I did. I suggest you make one and have fun with it.   "It is so easy, it hurts"!
